Acıbadem Hospital in Taksim

I am giving honest review regarding the experience. I visited Istanbul between 17-20 January 2025. The communication before i arrived was excellent from Teresa. I done a full health check up (bloods, heart, urine etc) however, i would not recommend to go on the weekend as it is basically a half day and Sunday’s they are closed, so i had to come back on the day i was leaving. In terms of the experience it was good however, the person that helped me throughout the check up translating and taking me from room to room & making sure i understand everything was 10/10 (Serkan). Top guy & was travelling from another branch to do so. He was very helpful polite and patient. I also had a full MRI scan which checks your whole body, but it is very basic interms of information regarding an injury. Would recommend to get an MRI on that specific area that you have an injury ie (Knee only). I also had transfer from the airport > hotel > hospital return included which was very helpful. All in all it was a great experience would have been better if i visited during the week. They also give you all your documentation & dvd regarding scans etc. once i got bad i got a call regarding results and they explained everything fully, what to do to improve health, diet etc. Would recommend this hospital as the staff and the people were very nice.

Stay Away from Acıbadem Taksim Hospital — They Tried to Scam Me in an Emergency! On the night of March 5th at 7:30 PM, I rushed to Acıbadem Taksim Hospital with my son, who is not even two years old. He had cut his little penis and was in pain. I chose this hospital because it was the closest, and my son was actually born in Acıbadem, so I have a 10% loyalty discount, plus I am covered by SGK. What happened next was nothing short of disgraceful. Instead of immediately helping my crying baby, the staff made me wait 20 minutes while they calculated how much they could charge me. First, they demanded 100 euros. I told them I live in Turkey, not checking into a hotel. Then they asked for over 4,000 TL just to start. All this while my child was in pain. Once a doctor finally checked him, they said he needed immediate stitches — and then hit me with a bill of 28,000 TL, demanding I pay before they could proceed! I refused on the spot. My son’s birth at this same hospital cost me 15,000 TL for two full nights. Suddenly, they wanted almost double that just for a few stitches! After I argued, they “went to speak to their supervisor,” but I had already arranged to go to Taksim Devlet emergency. Only when they saw me leaving, they came running after me, magically dropping the price to 15,000 TL. I still refused. Then they gave me a “feedback form” — which I filled out, explaining their disgusting behavior. After reading it, they had the audacity to offer me money back and told me “it’s not an emergency; stitches can wait up to 4 hours.” I went to Taksim Devlet Hospital. There, three doctors attended to my son immediately, spoke perfect English, stitched him up, and didn’t charge me a single lira — not even for follow-up checkups. Acıbadem Taksim is nothing but a money-making scam. They do not care if a baby is crying in pain. They stall, inflate prices, and try to pressure you to pay insane amounts on the spot. I will file a formal complaint with health authorities. I strongly advise everyone: avoid Acıbadem Taksim Hospital at all costs. They are dishonest, heartless, and will prey on you when you’re most vulnerable.

I had a tummy tuck and light bow 360 done everything from the initial consultation to being discharged. Everything was smoothly and amazing. The aftercare is wow no complaints. Definitely will be back and will be referring friends and family. Thank you Maylin for everything and for changing my life. I can’t wait to see my new body after I’m all healed so excited
